I started the process of refi my current mortgage for a lower interest rate- I was assigned to loan officer Kevin Burgess. Kevin overnighted the paper work which I completed and sent back. Waited a week and heard nothing from Kevin - received an email from a loan processor requesting a document which was emailed to her the next day and asked her if this was the correct document or did she need something else- nothing from Freedom for two months- I was emailing daily asking for an update, what else was needed- left phone messages- NO RESPONSE FROM FREEDOM- finally after 5 months I received an email stating that I would need to bring $134.88 to closing- I asked why I needed to pay $134.88 - again no response until a few days later when I was asked did I want to proceed with the refi and I replied yes if they would give me an explanation of the $134.88- next day I was informed that the loan had been closed on 5/19/15 two months later they tell me. I called Freedom to file a complaint regarding Kevin Burgess and the loan (4 all total) processor- have been dealing with Craig Clark- he informs me he is Kevin's manager- he says he is willing to help so far he has cut me off during a phone conversation- does not take responsibility for his so called staff- than I receive an email from him a week later telling me that another loan officer will be calling me- still have not heard from the new loan office- today I received an email from Craig telling me that one of the issues with the loan that was closed on 5/19/15 was a $180.00- he wanted to know if I knew about this amount- have not received an answer when I asked what the $180.00 was for - this has gone on for nearly 6 months- I much as I would like to have a lower interest rate- I am going to search for another mortgage company- Freedom has the worst customer service, their loan officers and processor are not educated in dealing with loans - they are rude, do not responded to emails or voice messages- each person passing the blame on to someone else- I am suppose to be dealing with a manager Craig Clark- who is not only rude but has taken the stance just like everyone else at Freedom - DOES NOT RESPOND TO EMAILS OR PHONE CALLS- SORRY GROUP OF PEOPLE-
